it was like a video game. houses and shops boarded up their fronts, rivers of bottles and bones flowed down the streets, helicopters hovered as police marched down in lines. A whole other world closed off from the city, leading to the only opportunity to head into the Notting hill houses for the rest room. Vendors set up on their victorian window sills. Graffiti artists scatter their colour on the gates. Grime artists performed in the residential alleys. It was a real hot mess.
